Hope you are all well although the weather is till grim but suck it up people we're British it's what we do best to be honest. I made dinner as usual but my sweet potato fries/wedges/chips/whatever you want to call them are the best I've had - ever. It's not bragging (well it is but it's the truth) but seriously they're sooooooo good. My trick is oil, not any oil basil infused oil with olive oil COMBINED the taste of the basil comes through really faintly at first then you're hit with mouth watering flames. You know those meals you kinda chuck together and they taste good - I assume this is how the peanut butter and Jelly hype came around in the US - my chicken and sweet potato fries are one of those meals. I like that it's two bland ingredients that can be oomphed and made either really well or nah. I've put everything I've used from the salt to the chili powder so you guys can get similar items especially for those of you who don't live in the UK, hopefully that helps you - but for people in the UK you should be able to find these in places like Tesco's or Asda etc. probably your cupboard. When making the actual marinade for the sweet potatoes I would suggest making it in one big bowl and using the same but less oily more spicy marinade and ensure you leave it on the both the chicken and the sweet potatoes for at least 30 minutes.
