Drink water and mind ya business - pretty damn simple, eh?

As all my Londoners know that the weather has been been bright and beautiful, with the occasional showers because lets not get ahead of ourselves we do live in England. One of the things I always find myself doing at this time of year is drinking"Detox Water" - super refreshing and a good cleanse for you internally and externally. Personally, I like ice cold cucumber and lemon water - below I've got some of the benefits of it (other than it looking nice) :

Happy Bank Holiday Monday guys - I hope you're enjoying your well earned day off. For the longest time I've always been an organised person, it makes me feel good you know - some people liked to draw on walls, I liked to organise my teddy bears. It's a trait of mine but I believe you can make it a habit, especially at school or college etc. Exam season is here and keeping on top of your revision is becoming more crucial than ever before - I know because I'm feeling it more than ever now. So, since things that are aesthetically pleasing help me remain calm and organised - I thought I'd construct a list of my fave items to keep me sane this exam season (click to buy):

Chapter 6 - Not So New Beginnings.

Well here's a post I never even dreamed I would come to post like EVER in all my years of blogging and all things that come with it. So when I started my journey I chose to be known as 'Bombarded Style', which at the age of 11 was probably the best thing I'd sat and thought about doing. The name was spelt like this ' BoMbArDeD sTyLe' because I thought I was cool - my first couple of post consisted of the above stupidity but I loved every second of it! I had a bright pink logo to match my basic blogger pink background, to put it simply my blog at that time resembled everything in my head at that given time. I created the name similar to how Tinie Tempah created his - if you don't know how he came up with his name he flicked through a dictionary and found 2 words and voila. I thought that was tooooo risky for my little innocent mind, so I chose style as the second word and flicked through tons of books and stumbled upon 'Bombarded' - which is what stuck. I literally wanted to bombard everyone with my love for fashion even if it was reckless and things I knew people wouldn't like - it was me.

But now 6 years on, I've really grown up and wanted my blog to be a reflection of that - which I slowly started doing with the layout and other bits. Bombarded Style was almost an alter ego, in the sense that it didn't reflect directly onto me but instead into someone I aspired to be at the age of 11. TSLondonn is me. It's the woman I'm developing into, I want my blog and all my socials to be a reflection of that. That's another reason why I leave all my questionable Instagram posts up - yes they're embarrassing but without them you or even I can't reflect on how much I've grown. From my awkward phases of editing to now where everything flows and appears more together. So, the name 'TSLondonn' (the extra '-n' looks nice and I've always emphasised my '-n's' so it made sense) is my name and the city I call home. I rebranded because I'm starting a whole new chapter and life shift and wanted you guys to be part of that.

I'm not saying goodbye to Bombarded Style but instead combining it with the person I've become.

Well Hello April long time no see. For those of you who haven't been following me for a long time then you wouldn't know that April is B I R T H D A Y   M O N T H - I turned 17 yesterday finally since I'm the last in my friendship group. *sighs*. But, I'm not even mad cause April is the best month of the year - the sun has started to shine, the trees are blossoming, iced coffees are back I MEAN. I've been hiding away due to mocks, work and repeat - like no joke my life revolves around my house, school and work. Anyway, so back to the post at hand (at least you're now updated) I get my nails done every now and then and yoooo. This nude colour got my heart and soul, legit the perfect mauve pink for us dark skin girls - which I've found is actually quite hard to find which was shocking considering its just your nails.


This is the Dulce De Leche from O.P.I and I'm obsessed, similar to all O.P.I nail polishes it doesn't chip and has a super nice gloss to it which some polishes lack. With the standard top coat from O.P.I it lasted around 2 weeks till I got bored and got them re-filled and opted for a brown which I didn't like but hey. So, I knew I had to share with you guys how cute my nails looked and I've listed some links below for where you can find it.

Well, Mum I made it. Today marks Bombarded Style's 6th birthday. My journey is still growing and I'm learning soooooo much as I learn more about you guys and myself - I look back at my first post and I laugh, honestly it was shambolic like really and truly. But I don't delete it, similar to my Instagram posts purely to show my glo' up - not just to other people but to myself too. Today is a celebration of both my blog and also  the journey that we're embarking on together - I started this at the age of 10, can you imagine it makes me laugh. At that point I was posting nonsense, pure nonsense but I was aspiring to the likes of Shirley B Eniang and Patricia Bright - nothing has changed, these are still women that inspire me.
As we begin 2017 I believe that this year is going to be one where both Bombardedstyle x TSLondon are both going to grow even more than the 6 years I've had my blog for. I started blogging because I always thought I'd end up in the fashion industry however, times change and obviously puberty and ishh. Looking back I'm so thankful that at 11 I thought of starting such an adventure - I may not be where I want to, but I have faith and believe I will be. Good things come to those who wait. Last year I was blessed with meeting some amazing like minded people, working with brands and gaining more experience for both arenas - YouTube and my blog. I'm not in rush to grow but what I do know is that God is doing things to make this experience the best it can be - my prayer for you is to be showered with even more blessings this year.

Let this be the year where we glo' up in all instances - from spiritual to physical. All I know is, a year from now we'll be thanking God once again for the blessings on blessings coming our way. Thank you for being with me through my journey, it's only just beginning.

2016 has flashed before our eyes with so many highs and lows, all I can literally say is what a year. I guess because a majority of my year was spent in my study or in exams the whole year flew past - I've ended friendships and gained some. The world has lost some heroes and gained some. I thought I'd do a post on the highlights of my year :




The biggest thing for me had to be completing year 11, at the time it literally seemed like the most unreachable thing purely based on how much pressure we had. Now that I'm doing my A Levels I would rather do year 11 20x than the 3 subjects I have to do. But, as everyone keeps saying 'its all a learning process' which in actual fact they don't prepare you for. I know I'm not the only one who feels like everything leads up to your GCSE's, then after that they kind of throw you into the deep end and see who floats. Mad.


 The entire 'melanin goddesses' movement from the girls that decided to go entirely natural to those who started more makeup brands for WOC, I salute you. This year the #blacklivesmatter brought the black community together more than ever - honestly it was amazing to see all shades of melanin come together to fight for something bigger than all of us. 2016 proved that our fight for both justice and equality has moved many paces backwards than forwards. The wars that have occurred are only whispering in the shadows, the fight isn't over.
